How cool is this, a week ago I announced that Rodney Aiglstorfer was going to be contributing to the iPhone Developer Tips blog, and now, another amazing developer has joined us as well! My friend Steve Wetherill, a long time C++ guy brings a wealth of development experience, here’s a little more about Steve:
A professional software developer for over 20 years, Steve runs California based mobile development company, Uztek Games, which he founded in 2002.
Over the course of his professional career, Steve has tackled almost every facet of video game development, including hardcore programming, video game design, video game production and studio operations management. Steve has served in executive management roles at leading software development houses and has made credited contributions on many AAA titles. At Uztek, Steve’s primary focus is on design and development of mobile applications. Recent recent work includes full-service original game development for publishers EA Mobile and I-Play, as well as hardcore engineering consulting on Mojax, the leading mobile AJAX platform.
A huge upside of having both Steve and Rodney contribute is that the blog now has three unique perspectives on development: Rodney is Java guy through and through, Steve has been writing C++ for the long haul and I’ve been working with J2ME since the early days. This is fantastic, as we’ll be able to cover even more ground, for even more developers…
Welcome Steve!
